Campaigns may be at one of the following states:
- Draft - the campaign that is not published yet. It is fully configurable and anything in it may be changed.
- Published - the campaign is published and available for users. It has some limitations in changing settings. Published campaigns can have one of the following statuses:
- Pending - the campaign is displaying for the end-user but is not available for predictions submission. This state used when the campaign is created but the voting date and time have not come.
- Entries Active - the campaign is available for prediction submission. The active period is configured in settings.
- Entries Closed - the campaign is closed for making predictions.
Draft
Draft is the initial state a campaign gets right after it is created.
It can not be added to the webpage until it is published.
For the Draft campaign, the configuration can be changed and saved without any restrictions, since it's not available to the end-users.
Once the draft campaign is published, it becomes available for adding to the website. After publishing campaign obtains Pending (if entries do not open yet) or Entries Active status (if entries are already open.
Published
Published campaigns are available for adding to the webpages, and have some limitations on changing settings.
Once the campaign published it obtains one of the following statuses:
- Pending if the entry period has not started yet.
- Entries Active if the entries open.
- Entries closed if the period for collection is ended.
Any configuration for the Published campaign can be changed with some exceptions:
- Participants deletion for Predict campaign
- Participants deletion for Poll campaign
- Changing bracket size of Predict campaign.
Pending
Pending — entry period is in the future, users can not make predictions yet.
Entries Active
Entries Active — the campaign is active and available for end-users and for making predictions (if there are no sign-in or location restrictions).
Note: It is impossible to change participants' order in Entries Active or Entries Closed state.
You could not select a winner in the Pending and Entries Active state.
Entries Closed
Entries closed — entry period is over and users can not make predictions anymore. Admin can enter the contest winners to be presented to the users.
